Julian Johnson-Munday
Julian Johnson-Munday, a male transvestite, pleaded not guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in January 2026, to a charge of fraud by false representation. The Daily Mail described Johnson-Munday as a “long-haired 63-year-old” who appeared in the dock “wearing a beige jacket, a grey skirt, and long black boots.”
Johnson-Munday, from Norwich, was the headteacher at the private Culford School near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and was suspended in January 2023 when a probe into his conduct was launched. The BBC reports that he is accused of making payments for personal expenses on the school credit card and using a school digger for his own purposes.
He elected to stand trial in front of a jury and will next appear at Norwich Crown Court on 24 February 2026.
