An unnamed male transvestite was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure on a main road near Cirencester on March 17. The man, aged in his 50s and from Wiltshire, was arrested at around 7am on a grass verge beside Spine Road in South Cerne following reports that a man was committing a sexual act (i.e. masturbating).

The man is described as white and was reportedly wearing a pink dress, stockings, black boots and a long brown wig. Local police are appealing for witnesses and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage. Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting incident 80 of 17 March.
