Luke/Bea Ramage
Luke/Bea Ramage, a male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in June 2025 of downloading images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children between March 2023 and September 2024.
Ramage, now aged 20 and from Lochgelly, Fife, had apparently complained in a WhatsApp group of losing images from a device and asking for help in recovering them. After the police conducted a search of Ramage’s devices after a tip-off, videos with a run time of over 20 minutes on the first phone were all classified as Category A (the most serious kind depicting penetrative sexual offences against children). The second phone contained 109 images and 28 videos with a combined duration of over 50 minutes, all Category A. The images were of very young boys and girls, including a girl estimated to be around 1 year old and search terms such as “child p*rn,” “baby p*rn,” and “infant p*rn” had been used to find them.
The judge deferred sentencing while further reports were prepared and apparently used Ramage’s preferred they/them pronouns in court. Ramage was placed on the sex offenders register in the meantime.
