Tyler/Kairah Kelly
Tyler/Kairah Kelly, a male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted in March 2026 at Teeside Crown Court of three counts of making indecent images and possessing a prohibited image of a child. Of the 18 indecent images found on Kelly’s phone, one showed a six-year-old boy being sexually abused.
In yet another case of the so-called trans Get Out Of Jail Free Card, Kelly, aged 25 and from Middlebrough, escaped a jail sentence. Instead, he received a two-year community order, along with an order to attend a mental health treatment program for six months; an alcohol abstinence programme for 120 days; and attend 20 rehabilitation days. Kelly was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for the next five years, which restricts his use of the internet and allows police to search his devices at any time.
The defence presented the usual sob story that Kelly has had a “difficult life due to gender dysphoria”. and the judge Amanda Rippon said “isolation, mental health difficulties & alcohol” had “led to the offending” – failing to recognise that none of these cause people to want to view images of children being sexually abused. However, the judge did tell Kelly “Do not stand there and think for one second that there are no victims. Every child you looked at in these images, you abused”.
The team at the feminist news service Reduxx discovered that 10 years ago Kelly was sympathetically profiled by media for being a “trans teen.” This is relatively common among the trans-identified males documented on this site, with over 10 examples of simpering media puff pieces collated here. Reduxx notes that in the 2016 Metro article, Kelly, who was 15 years old at the time, was described as “a Kim K-lookalike” and that Kelly began formally identifying as transgender over a school break, leaving as Tyler and returning as “Kairah” – read more here.
