Christina Wall
Christina Wall, a violent male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted at Cardiff Crown Court in January 2025 of robbery. Wall, aged 32 and from Cardiff, was sentenced to eight years and three months in prison.
In the press release issued by South Wales Police (archived here), Wall and two accomplices are described as having approached the victim, a 23 year old man, inside a city centre multi-storey car park in May 2024, then punching and ‘strangling him and attempting to gouge his eyes. Wall also told him they were in possession of a knife, threatening to kill him unless he emptied his pockets. Wall then took his mobile phone and wallet.’ The police press release avoided describing Wall as a man or woman, instead reading ‘Thirty-two-year-old jailed after Cardiff city centre robbery’ rather than their usual mode of describing convictions e.g. ‘Man who ran the ‘Omari’ drug line jailed‘ or ‘Neath Port Talbot woman jailed for illegal drug supply‘.
Detective Constable Carys Davies is quoted as saying “This was a particularly nasty offence, whereby Christina Wall and others took advantage of a lone man, luring him to a location where he was violently assaulted and robbed of his belongings.”
