Victoria Barany

Victoria Barany, a violent male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted at Bristol Magistrates Court in October 2025 of assaulting three police officers.

In the latest example of the trans Get Out Of Jail Free Card, Barany, aged 34 and from Bristol, avoided a custodial sentence, and instead was sentenced to unpaid work. However, it was then determined that because Barany is male he could not be assigned to a women-only work group due to April’s Supreme Court ruling that under the Equality Act “woman” means biological woman. Barany (a man who has assaulted three police officers, remember) then claimed to feel unsafe in a mixed-sex group so Bristol magistrates’ court revoked the sentence and ordered him to carry out 28 rehab activity days.

Fiona McAnena of Sex Matters commented to The Sun: “How ridiculous to go along with his claim he’d feel unsafe in a mixed-sex group. “This is yet another example of how cowed and indoctrinated our institutions have become.”

The Supreme Court ruling somehow hasn’t prevented Barany from being accommodated in a women-only hostel, so it seems the system is working for very well for violent men like him. No jail, no unpaid work, taking a place in a hostel from a vulnerable woman who needs it, and forcing other women in the hostel to accept a violent man as a “woman”. Result eh, fella?
