An unnamed violent male transvestite is sought by the police following an assault on a couple on a train in South Yorkshire in 2014.

The woman had asked the offender to move a bag from a seat so an elderly female passenger could sit down. The man refused and when the woman’s husband went to move the bag, the offender punched him in the face, cutting his lip. He then spat at the man and punched the woman in the face.

Officers said a white man, who was in his 20s, about 6ft tall and wearing women’s clothing, make-up and a red wig, attacked a couple on a train travelling between Woodlesford and Elsecar stations.
