An unidentified male transvestite sex offender is sought by by police in Basingstoke after exposing himself to a woman walking her dog in August 2008.

The 64-year-old woman was walking her dog around the south wall of Calleva Roman Town, near Silchester, when she saw a 5ft 10in tall man near where the wall joins Church Lane wearing a blue or grey long-sleeved sweatshirt, black stockings and a red suspender belt. He was leaning against the bonnet of a small silver car while ‘committing an indecent act’ i.e. masturbating.
