Marina Peter Diva-Shem, a male who identifies as a trans woman, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on 27 April, 2021 and was remanded to appear at Crown Court. Local media referred to Diva-Shem as having “exposed herself” in a local car park on 25 April.

Media coverage referred to Diva-Shem as a woman with headlines such as “Woman exposed herself in Glebe House car park, Haverfordwest” despite it being extremely rare for women to be charged with such offences – less than 1% of people prosecuted for exposure or voyeurism in England & Wales in the past decade were female.
