Lewis/Louise Foord

Lewis/Louise Foord, a violent male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted at Mold Crown Court in June 2019 of sexual assault and false imprisonment. Foord, 19, was sentenced to 22 months youth detention and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ register for 10 years.

In January 2022, Foord (now aged 21) was convicted at Ipswich Crown Court of possessing a large number of indecent images of children and breaching sex offender notification requirements by having Instagram accounts under aliases that weren’t registered with police.

The court was told some of the most serious images found on Foord’s iPad and iPhone had “hallmarks of sadism” and involved the abuse of toddlers. Despite the judge noting that the defendant had convictions for 19 offences (most of which were for violence on an adult in a position of authority) the 22 month sentence for the latest offences was suspended for two years. Foord also received an 80 day rehabilitation activity requirement and was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) for 20 years.

In 2019, Foord – who was transitioning from local authority care to independent living and already had previous convictions for assault – had attacked and imprisoned the female victim in a prolonged and terrifying ordeal during which she was sexually assaulted and had her footwear removed as part of Foord’s fetishised interest in women’s feet.

The victim managed to text her boyfriend and her manager, who called 999 and went to the premises. However Foord had barricaded the entrance and by the time the police arrived and kicked in the door she had been imprisoned for around half an hour and was extremely distressed after Food had sexually assaulted her and placed his arm around her neck, believing she would be strangled.

Foord, who reportedly has a moderate to severe personality disorder, received a caution at the age of 14 after accosting a woman and her granddaughter in the street. Foord picked up the girl and carried her for a few steps before putting her down, and admitted going out with the intention of finding a female victim and having sexual thoughts about attacking girls.
