Lucy Dean
Lucy Dean, a male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted at Chester Crown Court in June 2026 of one charge of possession of prohibited images of a child and three charges of making indecent images of children, in categories A, B and C.
In common with a large number of trans-identified male paedophiles, Dean was given a suspended sentence of 16 months in jail – the so-called trans Get Out of Jail Free card. He is also required to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work and 30 days of rehabilitation activity after telling a judge he had paid for private counselling to address his behaviour. Dean must sign the Sex Offender Register for 10 years and be the subject of a ten year sexual harm prevention order (SHPO).
Dean, aged 27 and from Macclesfield, was arrested in June 2025 after officers from Cheshire Police’s online child abuse investigation team received intelligence that his email and IP addresses had been used to upload indecent images of children between August 2023 and June 2025.
The court heard that Dean had downloaded over 1000 indecent images, including videos, of children onto his phone from the dark web over a two year period, among them 306 Category A images showing babies “in severe distress” being sexually assaulted.
Media universally referred to Dean with female pronouns, although they did include the fact that Dean is transgender.
