David / Skye Woolridge
David / Skye Woolridge, a male who identifies as a trans woman, was convicted of possession of crack cocaine. Woolridge, 21, was sentenced to a total of 38 months imprisonment at Plymouth Crown Court on 16 January 2018.
Woolridge, from Taunton, was arrested in Salisbury in October 2017 but escaped custody before being re-arrested and subsequently charged with escaping from lawful custody, as well as breaching a suspended sentence order, possession of class A drugs, breach of a Community Behaviour Order and resisting a constable.
Media headlines and reporting referred to Woolridge as a woman, whereas the police appeal for information described a “man due to appear in court today.”
