Michael O’Docherty/Tamzin Lush, a violent male who identifies as a trans woman, was convicted at Westminster Magistrates Court of violent disorder in November 2018.

O’Docherty/Lush, 27, from Romford, committed the offence at Leicester Square tube station with two other violent males who identify as trans women (see Tylah-Jo Bryan and Amarnih Lewis-Daniel) in June 2018. Video capturing a 19 year old man on the ground being repeatedly hit, kicked and stamped on was widely shared, and the victim needed hospital treatment for his injuries.

The magistrate agreed with the prosecutor that the incident was so serious that the defendants needed to be sentenced in a higher court.

Sentencing of Bryan, Lewis-Daniel and O’Docherty/Lush (plus an additional female perpetrator) will be at Blackfriars Crown Court on a date to be determined.

At the time of the offence, all media coverage referred to the incident as being perpetrated by a gang or group of women, and every post by media outlets on social media received hundreds of replies asking for the perpetrators’ sex to be accurately reported.

*Update November 2020*

O’Docherty/Lush was finally sentenced two years later, receiving a six-month curfew between 9pm and 7am . Media coverage of the sentencing hearing reveals that the 19 year old victim reportedly told one of the group of three trans-identified males: “You’re not a woman — you need a fanny to be a woman” – a biological reality (albeit crudely phrased) that the majority of the country would agree to be true. The prosecutor also told the court that the victim reportedly racially abused a fourth (female) member of the group, Hannah Bryan.

The 19 year old man (who was punched to the ground then repeatedly kicked and stamped on by four people) was then referred to by the judge as an ‘alleged victim’ and that comments referring to biological reality are ‘transphobic’, with violence seemingly an inevitable consequence.

‘Judge Nigel Seed told the gang: ‘I accept that had it not been for the alleged victim in this case there probably wouldn’t have been an incident.

‘The four of you then were subjected to extremely offensive transphobic and racial abuse. Had it not been for that there would have been no violent disorder.

‘However that does not excuse what you did, you went far to far in your reactions, but of course transphobic issues are particularly sensitive.’

Despite being the perpetrators of the violence, Lush and Bryan were given a platform in the Daily Mirror to blame their violence on Britain’s “transphobia” problem rather than their own male-pattern violence. Their victim did not make any statement to the police or court so all circumstances of the incident are according to the violent perpetrators.
