Vivienne Taylor

Vivienne Taylor, a violent male who identifies as a transgender woman, was convicted in November 2025 at Westminster Magistrates Court of stalking causing serious alarm or distress. Taylor, aged 28 and from Harrow was remanded back into into custody ahead of a sentencing hearing at Isleworth Crown Court on a date to be set.

Taylor embarked on an extended course of conduct over four years, stalking and threatening the female urological surgeon who presumably performed surgery on his genitals at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2021, starting with staff noticing a large number of pictures of the surgeon on Taylor’s phone. Taylor was then readmitted to the unit with suspected self-inflicted complications of the surgery and insisting on being treated by the same surgeon, saying he would kill himself if not (i.e. emotional blackmail and a hallmark of abusers everywhere). The hospital banned Taylor from seeing Ms Rashid, and the court heard he was later sectioned, meaning no criminal proceedings were brought in 2021. Taylor then started the harassment again in 2024 which escalated to direct threats, making at least six unwanted hospital visits for invented appointments, a bombardment of emails to Ms Rashid and, on November 2, an emailed threat saying would he would “batter [Ms Rashid] and shag her partner”.

Taylor has submitted almost one hundred Freedom of Information requests to various institutions, many of them seeking personal information about his victim Ms Rashid and other topics related to gender surgeries, such as why facial feminisation surgery isn’t provided on the NHS.

The team at Reduxx have discovered further exclusive details of Taylor’s pursuit of other individuals and institutions and also reveals that he was a volunteer at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital, where he says he worked in Maternity and Gynaecology, and was also a Stonewall Youth Volunteer, where he likely interacted with young people and minors – read their report here. The report ends with the observation that “Taylor’s chosen name is nearly identical to that of Vivian Taylor, the stage name of a well-known American pornography actress who dyed her hair blonde in 2023” – see here for other examples of trans-identified men who have stolen women’s names.

At a hearing at Isleworth crown court in December 2025, Taylor joined on a videolink from HMP Wandsworth, a male category B jail in south London and tried to insist on being sent to a female prison. The Evening Standard reported that Taylor told the judge “I have a female recognition certificate” and “I am a female. “I should be treated as such, I should go to Bronzefield or another female establishment.”

Prison policy in England and Wales prevents male transgender prisoners from being housed in the female estate if they have been convicted of a sexual or violent crime against a female victim and/or retain their male genitalia, regardless of whether they have a gender recognition (i.e. sex falsification) certificate – this means that the vast majority of male transgender prisoners are held in male prisons. The Ministry of Justice claims it is “reviewing our transgender prisoner policy in light of the Supreme Court ruling”, referring to the For Women Scotland victory in April 2025 that established that the legal definition of “woman” in the Equality Act 2010 is based on biological sex.

The hearing was adjourned for psychiatric assessments to be completed on Taylor, with a new sentencing date set for February 5, 2026.

*Update March 2026*

Taylor was sentenced to 14 months in prison at Isleworth Crown Court in March 2026. The judge said he was taking a “rare course” by imposing an “exceptional” restraining order without a time limit on Taylor. In the all too common one-sided sympathy for trans-identified male criminals (and none for the vulnerable female prisoners forced to share space with him), male Judge Giles Curtis-Raleigh also noted Taylor was initially sent to a male prison and said this had been a “difficulty”. So Taylor’s past victim is rightly protected for life, but no dots are connected that women Taylor comes into contact with in the future (particularly those in a female prison with no escape from him) would also be in profound and unnecessary danger from him.

The court heard more about how Taylor’s stalking had terrorized the victim, including the “plainly terrifying” message threatening physical harm; Ms Rashid said she started wearing a cap or a hood to try to avoid being recognised, stayed late in the office, and paid £60 a day on Uber taxis to take her to and from work, as she was “worried about being followed”. She also added: “I have young children living with me and I also fear for their safety.” The judge noted that Taylor’s offending had affected Rashid’s “work, family and every aspect of her life” and that Taylor “sought to put blame on [the victim] for putting you in prison, which causes me concern”.

The feminist writer Julie Bindel was in court and has written her account of Taylor’s dangerous delusions, questioning why such a clearly disturbed individual was okayed for surgery to his genitals. The court heard details of Taylor’s appalling childhood experiences including a history in care, plus multiple psychiatric diagnoses of “severe personality disorder, and narcissistic disorder.” Bindel continues, “He is also autistic and exhibits a rare psychiatric condition known as erotic delusional disorder – believing that his victim is in love with him and wants to have sex with him.”

The BBC report uses female pronouns throughout for a violent, threatening man who made a woman fear for her personal safety  – and the safety of her children – for a prolonged period of time, neatly obscuring male violence against women (stalking is a crime overwhelmingly perpetrated by men against women). Indeed among the 350+ articles collated under the BBC’s Stalking topic, less than 10 relate to female perpetrators and the vast majority of the hundreds of victims are female.

A Ministry of Justice spokesperson confirmed Taylor is incarcerated on E Wing at HMP Downview – the unit for trans-identified males within the women’s prison estate where the vicious male murderer Steven Carby/Aurin Makepeace is among the seven male prisoners believed to be currently held on the unit.  The latest independent inspection report reveals that 1:1 monitoring of trans-identified male prisoners has been abandoned at HMP Downview with the atmosphere described (unsurprisingly, considering the violent, disordered men held in the unit) as “toxic” with “frequent conflict, bullying, exclusion and flashpoints in prisoner relationships”. The Daily Telegraph reports that instead of acting on the report, the prisons minister, Lord Timpson, removed the chair of the board from her role the day after publication.
