Geraldo Tucciarone

Geraldo Tucciarone, a violent male who identifies as a trans woman, was convicted of the rape and sexual abuse of a young girl and boy, both aged 10 years old, twenty years previously. He had also also forced the young boy to watch pornography.

Tucciarone was sentenced to ten years in prison at Ipswich Crown Court in 2012 and was banned indefinitely from having any unsupervised contact with under 16s and ordered to sign on the sexual offences register until further notice.

Following this conviction, Tucciarone, 53, was convicted in 2014 of five further offences of indecent assault, all involving the same boy over an eight year period between February 1984, and February 1992. The child was six years old when Tucciarone first sexually assaulted him and the court heard he had been so “emotionally drained and scarred” that he was only able to go to the police when the defendant was behind bars. Tucciarone was sentenced to five years’ and five months’ imprisonment to run concurrently with his existing sentence.

Tucciarone was imprisoned in HMP Littlehey, a male sex offenders’ prison in Cambridgeshire, where he has reportedly identified as transgender. It is unknown if he has since been transferred to a women’s prison. HMP Littlehey is the sex offender prison featured in this article on the large number of serious sex offenders on the so-called ‘Transgender Pathway’.
