Islington Transvestite Sex Offender

A transvestite male is sought by the police after exposing his genitals to a 19-year-old woman on an overground train between Canonbury and Highbury and Islington in London.

The incident happened at about 12.35pm on 4 June 2017. The suspect left the train at Highbury and Islington and boarded another train to Richmond.

Det Cons Andy Parkinson is quoted in the Islington Gazette as saying “Incidents such as this are completely unacceptable and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.

The article identifies the suspect as ‘transgender’, presumably due to external feminine signifiers such as hair and clothing but we can assume the victim identified the genitalia she was forcefully exposed to as belonging to a male person.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 221 of June 4, 2017
