Peter Lerwill
Peter Lerwill, a violent male transvestite, was convicted in October 2022 at Lewes Crown Court of attempting intercourse with an animal and was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison.
Lerwill, 30, has also been issued with a five-year criminal behaviour order banning him from owning or having any unsupervised custody or control of a dog and will also be on the sex offenders register for five years.
Police arrested Lerwill in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex in June 2022 after a member of the public reported ‘a man dressed in women’s clothing involved in a sexual act with a dog’. The dog was taken to a vet immediately and was, thankfully, physically unharmed, and returned to its owner. Forensic samples strengthened the case that there had been activity of a sexual nature with the dog.
Within the past year, another trans-identified male sex offender – John/Claire Goodier – was jailed for 20 months after 31 indecent images of the offender perpetrating sex offences against a dog were found on Goodier’s computer.
In 2010 another violent male transvestite was convicted of sexually assaulting a dog at a tourist attraction in Cornwall.
