Callum/ Stacie McLean, is a violent male who identifies as transgender. The teenager was remanded to female prison HMP Cornton Vale after being arrested in connection with an incident in the Harbour Arts Centre café in Irvine where serial offender Katelyn Findlay was accused of flying into a drunken rage and terrorising families. The case was passed to the Children’s Panel.

At the same hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, Findlay also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and trying to pervert the course of justice at Kilwinning railway station earlier in June 2014.

During a month on remand at Cornton Vale, McLean was placed on report and kept segregated after several female inmates reported that McLean had threatened to rape them.
